Comparison. Prices checked 15 September 2026.SDR Pilot (sdrpilot.ai) is an AI SDR from $97 a month that runs on your own LinkedIn account and can be driven by your own AI agent. gtm-api is an account-based LinkedIn API from $39 per connected account a month. gtm-api sells the tools and you build the SDR. SDR Pilot is the SDR.
These two look similar on a search results page and are opposite products. Both put LinkedIn in reach of an AI agent. One hands your agent the controls; the other hands your agent a colleague who already knows how to use them.

Pick gtm-api if you are building a product on top of LinkedIn, or if your team is going to write the outbound logic anyway and wants typed tools and a REST backend to write it against. It is cheaper per account, it has a free tier to try, and it covers surface SDR Pilot does not, including InMails and Sales Navigator.
Pick SDR Pilot if you want the outbound to already work. The research, the ICP scoring, the decision not to send, the playbook, the conversation and the pacing exist; your agent drives them rather than reimplementing them.
It is the more complete LinkedIn surface of the two and it is honest about being infrastructure. Typed MCP tools for agents and REST for a backend, both against accounts you connect. Messaging, invites, InMails, profile and company search and posts, across Classic and Sales Navigator. A free plan with one connected account and no card, which is the cheapest way in this category to find out whether the shape suits you at all.
Its own safety claim is a volume one: built by a team running 20,000 or more LinkedIn accounts at under a one percent ban rate, on isolated anti-detect cloud browsers with dedicated proxies and smart rate limiting. That is their number and their wording, not ours, and it is a serious operation.
An API does what the caller asks. That is its job, and it is also where outbound goes wrong: the judgement about who is worth contacting and how fast ends up inside a prompt or a cron that nobody tuned for LinkedIn's tolerance. SDR Pilot refuses at that layer instead. Your agent asks for twenty founders; SDR Pilot reads each profile, scores it against your ICP, sends to the ones that pass inside the day's cap, and tells you what it did not do.
The second difference is after the send. A LinkedIn API returns a reply as data. SDR Pilot answers it from your playbook, qualifies against your criteria, and hands the thread over when the lead is ready. Building that half yourself is a bigger project than the sending half, and it is the part that decides whether outbound produces conversations or a full inbox.
Both use dedicated proxies and both rate limit. The difference is who the limit is for. SDR Pilot's caps are not parameters: 20 connection requests a day per sender with a ceiling of 25, 100 messages with a ceiling of 250, 250 profile reads, 30 searches, a warm-up from 5 a day reaching 20 on day 16, one action at a time, one browser identity per sender, your own active hours. An agent cannot raise any of it. With an API, the rate limiting protects the platform and the sensible daily number is yours to choose and enforce.
FAQOnly if what you wanted from gtm-api was outbound that works rather than tools to build it with. gtm-api is an account-based LinkedIn API from $39 per connected account. SDR Pilot is an AI SDR from $97 a month that already does the research, the scoring, the sending and the replies, and lets your agent drive it. Prices checked 15 September 2026.
gtm-api, on price per account: from $39 a month, down to $10 at volume, with a forever free plan for one account. SDR Pilot is $97 a month per sender. The comparison is not like for like, because one is tools and the other is the SDR.
Not on one LinkedIn account. Two systems acting on the same session is the automation pattern LinkedIn reacts to, whichever tools they are.
It is being built, in early access, and there is nothing to install today. The intended surface mirrors the app rather than the LinkedIn API: search people, add and research leads, queue a request, read the inbox, reply, post. The pacer stays outside anything the caller can set.
Nothing can promise an account is safe, and both use dedicated proxies and rate limiting. The models differ: gtm-api states its own volume record and leaves the sending policy to your code, while SDR Pilot's caps, warm-up and pacing are fixed and cannot be raised by whatever is calling.

SDR Pilot is allow-listed, so there is no checkout and no free trial. Send a DM on LinkedIn, the agent answers, and your account is set up from there. Plans start at $97 a month for one LinkedIn sender.
